JAMES K. ELLERBRAKE has over 25 years experience in marketing and advertising, having helped many large and small companies successfully introduce new products and re-stage established brands. James is an expert in stretching smaller advertising budgets into business successes, having received 3 American Marketing Association's EFFIE awards.

James began his career at Young & Rubicam in New York, handling such General Foods flag-ship brands as Minute Rice and Gainesburgers. Wishing to augment his agency background with direct client experience, he joined Colgate-Palmolive where he developed and introduced a number of successful new products and re-staged established brands. These included Palmolive Liquid, Handi-Wipes, and Cold Power.

In the early 1970's James moved to Saatchi & Saatchi in San Francisco. During the next 19 years, he played a central role in the expansion of the agency, being responsible for many of the offices major accounts including Blue Diamond, Chevron, General Mills, Hewlett-Packard, Interstate Brands, Libby's, McKesson, and S & W.

In 1993 he joined Marketing Partners Inc. as the partner in charge of new business and client services.

James Ellerbrake holds a BA from Drake University and an MBA from Michigan State University.
